Do I need an appointment to shop at your boutique?
Yes! We are by appointment only so we can provide outstanding service to each and every one of our brides. The majority of what we sell are special order, and many items can be customized. Working one on one with one of our stylists allows you to be educated on all of your options.
How far in advance should I book my appointment?
To ensure a date and time that works best for you and all of your entourage, we recommend booking your appointment 2-3 weeks in advance! Call or text us at 319-665-2000 to book!
How long will my appointment be?
All bridal appointments are 90 minutes. All Pick Up appointments are 60 minutes.
Is there a limit to the number of guests I can bring with me?
For regular bridal appointments, we allow for the bride plus 3 guests. We understand that there are many special people in your life that want to be apart of this unforgettable day; we are excited to also offer a private bridal appointment option for the bride plus 8 guests!
What I should bring to my appointment?
You never need to bring anything with you when trying on but a few things we recommend bringing are,
Spanx, shape wear or nude undergarments
An open mind
Pictures of styles you have in mind or pictures from our Pinterest Board
Can my guests help pick my dress?
Absolutely! Prior to your appointment, you will receive a welcome text from the Heart to Heart Bridal Team which includes a sharable link to our Pinterest Board where you and your guests can pre-shop all of our in-stock styles and take a sneak peek of our Coming Soon board!
We ask that all guests remain seated for the duration of the bridal appointment.
What is the price range of your gowns?
Our hand selected gowns range from $1,200-$3,500. The average price of our gowns is $1,500-$2,000 and sale gowns start under $1000.
Do you carry plus size dresses?
We are excited to offer 80+ gowns in sizes 18-28 to try on and we are always adding to our growing inventory!
When should I purchase my bridal gown?
Finding your dream dress is an unforgettable day and best when surrounded by those you hold close. The perfect time to say 'yes' is when you're ready to purchase and have the most important people in your life with you (ie: Mom, Grandma, Sister, BFF)
Most designers recommend purchasing your bridal gown close to 12 months before your wedding day; this allows perfect timing for ordering, shipping and alterations. For our brides on a shorter timeline, Heart to Heart is happy to offer all bridal gowns and accessories off-the-rack!
How to prepare to say YES to the dress!
With our incredible selection of wedding dresses, be prepared to to say "YES" to the dress and purchase on the same day! Most Heart to Heart Brides purchase during their first appointment. With larger purchases such as wedding dresses we recommend notifying your bank 24 hours prior to your appointment to prevent fraud alerts to your account.
Does Heart to Heart Bridal offer alterations?
We do not offer in-house alterations. However, we have two excellent recommendations outside of the shop! Alterations are an important aspect of the wedding gown process and almost every bride will require alterations in some respect such as the addition of a bustle or length taken from the skirt.
